Jeremy Smith

Hey guys! I'm Jeremy Smith, and I serve as the MP3 Generation's pastor. I was born in a small town in Texas and grew up in and around Texas and Louisiana. I really didn't care much for "church" as a kid and only went when there was a girl I liked. But, even though I never paid attention, Jesus was doing something in my heart. One night when was 19 years old and totally living for all the wrong things, Jesus met me. It was then, in a back pew of a church in Arkansas that I became a Jesus follower...hard core, sold out. We made a deal that day: "Jesus, you never leave me and I'll never leave you." Since then, He's never left me and I've never left him. Let me tell you, it's been a wild ride.

Once I totally gave my life to Jesus, He gave me a passion for young people and a passion to see them come to a full understanding of what He can be in their lives. I attended an internship with Teen Mania Ministries and The Honor Academy soon thereafter. It was basically a spiritual boot camp. After a year of intense training and personal development at the Honor Academy, I went back to college to complete my undergraduate studies at Southern Methodist University. During that time, I met the most amazing woman in the world who has given me a wonderful son, Peyton, and a gorgeous daughter, Parker.
